Week 8 in the IFL lived up to the hype
Week 8 in the IFL has came and went and man did it live up to the hype. The 4 games played were all rematches of Week 1 with three games having the winner of Week 1 winning again and 1 game being reversed. All 4 games this time around was just as good or better than the first game.
The Baltimore Bulls beat the Carolina Pack 38-28 after beating them 55-45 in Week 1. For the second time this season the Boston Liberty beat the Tampa Bay Stallions. Beating them 17-9 after beating them 20-14 in Week 1. Once again the Arizona Outlaws beat the Philadelphia Flight beating them 24-20 after beating them 37-13 in Week 1.
The lone game that had a different outcome was the Tokyo Kitsune beating the New York Cobras 37-34 after having lost to those very same New York Cobras 33-31 in Week 1. Going into all these games fans of the IFL and each team believed that either team come come out of the game with a big victory. The fans were not disappointed at all.
So after 8 weeks of great games Baltimore has beaten Carolina twice, Boston has beaten Tampa Bay twice and Arizona has beaten Philadelphia twice on the season while Tokyo ans New York has split a pair of games. With the season still having 6 games left what impact will these games have on the playoff picture moving forward if any?

IFL Moving To 16 Teams!
The IFL unlike any other sim league on the net has grown to just under 80 members in just a few months. As a result, 8 teams just aren't enough. So the league decided that in season #2, the IFL will be expanding to 16 teams. And again unlike any other league, in the IFL ownerships will be earned, not given away or voted on. The IFL refuses to open any door to any claims of bias. So the easiest, fairest and most humble way to gain ownership is to earn it through league activity. To all those who don't have a team currently in the IFL, GOOD LUCK! We hope to see you in the owners box next season.
